Down East Ski Club Meetings!

Club meetings are held monthly to plan and organize events, and are run according to Robert's Rule of Order. Meetings are held at the Barron Center, 1145 Brighton Ave, Portland, the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 7pm (with the exception of our Annual Banquet, which is typically the end of April and occasional off-site meetings during the summer).

Our Annual Banquet is a fun event to close the ski season, organized by the outgoing Vice President and the current Down Easter of the Year.  We recognize the outgoing officers,  and bestow fun awards based on happenings, (and sometimes mishappenings ) during the ski season. We  announce the new Down Easter of the Year, a member  recognized for exceptional service to the Down East Ski Club. Old Smoothie is awarded to a person smooth on the slopes and off, and the Rookie of the Year goes to a new member who understands that member participation is the heart and soul of  The Down East Ski Club.
