HUT RULES

  • Lodge use is a privilege for members in good standing that have met club obligations as described in the by-laws.
  • All members using the lodge are expected to participate in community chores: bringing in wood, washing dishes, sweeping floors etc.
  • Members who have stayed over the previous weekend should wait until Tuesday to make reservations for the following weekend.
  • Supper reservations should be made by Wednesday night, allowing hutmasters to shop accordingly. Those making reservations after Wednesday night may need to supply their own Saturday meal.
  • Members are responsible for supper fees when cancellations are made after Thursday.
  • All food, coats and ski related gear MUST be put away.
  • Children are NOT to be in the lodge unattended. If circumstances arise where a child needs to stay in, please consult a hutmaster or other adult ski club member.

Lodge FEES

  • $5.00 overnight for adults members
  • $5.00 overnight per member child
  • $10 for overnight guests- adult or child
  • $5.00 for supper : adult or child over 12 years old
  • $3.00 for children under 12 years old
  • $1.00 suggested day use fee

DOWN EAST SKI CLUB by-laws state each member is required to participate in one full day of labor, per Club year, at an organized work party at the Clubs lodge at Pleasant Mountain.
Hut Rules state that a member must be in good standing - having fulfilled their work commitments - to be granted lodge use privileges. If you have difficulty meeting your work commitments it is important to notify the E-board, or a member of the Hut committee- so that you remain a member in good standing.

If you are not able to make the fall work dates, please contact me to let me know what dates will work for you for a Spring work date.
