Down East Ski Club Membership

Not only do we ski together, we also participate in year round activities including hiking, biking, canoeing, camping and ski trips, which are planned and organized by our members.

All prospective members must attend a Down East Ski Club meeting to obtain a membership application. Meetings are held at the Baron center, 1145 Brighton Ave, Portland, the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 7pm (with the exception of our Annual Banquet, which is typically the end of April and occasional off-site meetings during the summer).

The completed membership application, a one time $10 application fee and annual dues are processed through the Membership Chair. Annual dues are $35 per individual. Members are urged to attend at least 4 meetings per year. Club meetings are held monthly to plan and organize events and get caught up on club happenings. The privilege of lodge use and participation in club activities is pending on members being in good standing. Each member is required to observe the governing bylaws, participate annually in one full day at an organized work party at the club lodge, and participate in the annual Down East Ski Sale.
